Antique: Bronze statue of a girl - Finsk Lotte, Lotta-Svärd

Patinated bronze. Statue of a girl in a military coat on guard, leaning against a stylized stone tower. From the Lotta Svärd organisation. The members did not undergo combat training, except as operators of large anti-aircraft searchlights ( until 1944 ). They served in the Finnish Air Defence and in four other sections: Nursing, Supply, Equipment, Finance. Depending on the chosen specialization, they then completed various professional courses. Signed on the base: Finsk Lotte, 1940, monogram of the sculptor J. H. Finland, 1940. Height 28 cm.
