White, coloured and painted porcelain. In the style of German Art Nouveau and New Earnestness. Large sculpture of a standing peasant with a costume hat and clogs, harnessing a pair of cows to a harness with a plough. Model by Otto Pilz ( 1876 - 1934 ), model name Bauer mit Kühen, Meissen porcelain factory. Germany 1920 - 1930. Marked from below with blue crossed swords, engraved model number H 123. Height 28,5 cm, width 42,5 cm.
