Adolf Loos used this very unusual looking chaise longue in at least three interiors he designed in the late 1930s and early 1940s. The most famous of these is the Müller Villa in Prague, where he placed two pieces in the living room. Loos is not the author of this design - rather, it is a modification of a chaise longue that had been manufactured by the English firm Hamptons since the late 19th century. The chaise longue can be made from any upholstery material. The staining of the beech base is optional.

Optional materials:

Coating fabric, wood with finish ash, oak, cherry, walnut, mahogany

PRICE AND CONSUMPTION OF SUBSTANCE:

Lounger: from 48 900 CZK + 6 bm of covering material in width 140 cm

Adolf Loos (1870 - 1933)

Pioneer of modern architecture, theorist, interior designer, designer, architect revolutionary. Ornament is a crime, Speech to the Void, The House Without Eyebrows, Raumplan - all of these are Loos. He designed his buildings from the inside out, thinking in three dimensions, in the cubes from which he created and composed his buildings and interiors. He fully developed his unique spatial concept in the realisation of the Müller Villa in Prague's Ořechovka district.
