H-70 armchair: non-reclining version of a very popular model. It is a streamlined armchair made up of wooden sides made of bent wood. The high comfort is ensured by the firm fixing of the seat and backrest. The finish of the basic version of the beech frame is made with a colourless semi-matt varnish. The wood can be left in its natural colour or stained under the varnish. The seat and backrest for the basic version are made of polyurethane foam.

Jindřich Halabala (1903 - 1978)

Legendär und zeitlos. Das ist Halabala, und das sind seine Möbel. Die Spinne, Halabalas Tisch aus den 1950er Jahren, der so manches zeitgenössische Interieur schmückt, ist sicherlich eine Ikone seiner Zeit. Halabala hat als Hauptdesigner die Tätigkeit und die Arbeit der United UP Fabriken, die zu den fortschrittlichsten und größten Möbelfabriken der damaligen Tschechoslowakei gehörten, grundlegend beeinflusst.
