Gouache, watercolor on cardboard 48 x 73 cm. Signed lower left. Frame with glass 59 x 83 cm. Bohumil Jaros (14. 4. 1856 Jicinn - 17. 12. 1924 Prague) painter. He came from a family of painters, his father Emanuel Jaros was a decoration painter. He studied privately with prof. Jan Subice and Julius Marak in 1886 - 1891. He is known for his gouache landscapes. He also dealt with the restoration of old frescoes.
